About 15 years ago Tod started on a journey to understand why and how great memories and connections are formed between kids and their parents. He surveyed over one thousand young adults, analyzed that data, and developed a framework for memory making and building meaningful connections. He has presented his findings to standing-room-only conferences, parents groups, and more! If you ask my children (16 & 14) their best memories they will talk about that "side by side time" whether that was cycling from London to Denmark to visit the Lego office (their decision) or the road trip from Poland to Finland for Xmas where the temp was -26C for most of the journey. Micro adventures where you are side by side with your children exploring together is what I have optimised for.
